What we hold

Your name, email and password (stored scrambled, never in plain text). For tutors, also your profile, video link, area, and the identity and qualification documents you upload. For parents, your booking and payment history.

Who can see it

Your full address is never shown publicly - only your area. Tutor documents are visible to our admin team, and to a parent only if you personally approve their request.

Students contacting tutors are shown by first name and initial only.

Messages

Messages sent through the site are stored, and our system automatically blocks contact details. Our admin team can review messages when investigating a report or a blocked message.

Payments

Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers. We keep the amount, the date and a reference.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Some records - invoices, for example - must be kept for tax purposes.
